How to reach Njombe?
From Dar es Salaam you can reach Njombe by using different means of transport:
- by train: from Dar to Makambako: sometimes it needs long time – more than 15 hours – and train does not travel each day or
- by bus: from Dar Ubungo Bus Terminal to Njombe, about 720 km and it needs more than 10 hours. Recommendation: Please pay attention to good bus-company!
- by airplane: Air Tanzania, from Dar to Mbeya or Iringa and then by bus or private car to Njombe
